What Will You Do?

  • Come to work well rested and mentally and physically prepared for your day's duties.
  • Complete Pre & Posttrip truck circle checks as per itemized inspection sheet, as well as all job specific paperwork including route sheets, work orders, scale tickets, mileage report and logbook.
  • Complete any repair orders for your truck to ensure that your truck is in a safe condition. Immediately report any defects in equipment or workmanship, which may jeopardize the safe operation of your vehicle.
  • Report any and all damage to the vehicle, its contents, or to the property of others due to an accident in which your vehicle is involved.
  • As a representative of the Company, it is important to always be neat in appearance and courteous to our partners.
  • Packaging, labeling, and organizing outgoing shipments, pick up finished goods from departments when required. Moves product between warehouses and storerooms on an as required basis.
  • Support overall Logistics Department
  • Maintain & operate tow motors as per standard operating & maintenance procedures.
  • General housekeeping of department and truck as required.

What Will Help You Succeed?

  • Must be able to lift an average weight of 35 lbs. to 50lbs on a constant basis.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Lift truck and forklift experience are additional assets (training will be provided)
  • Knowledge of general logistics is an asset

_ Knowledge/Experience_

  • Minimum
    2 years truck driving experience would be preferred.
  • Experience in a shipping/receiving environment would be a definite asset.
  • Experience driving 5ton trucks with Air Brakes and a good knowledge of MTO regulations
  • Experience using a variety of navigation apps
  • Experience in a shipping/receiving environment would be a definite asset.

Mandatory Requirements

  • The ability to obtain and maintain Government of Canada Secret (Level II) clearance.
  • Valid AZ/DZ driver's license with air brake endorsement
