Lindsay, Ontario.

Our aim is to provide the highest quality goat and sheep milk cheese products in North America through the efforts of our skilled and valued team for the benefit of our customers and community.


Mariposa Dairy is currently seeking to enhance our sales team We are looking for a
Key Account Manager to assist us in achieving our key deliverables, growing the business.


Purpose:


As a Key Account Manager, you will be entrusted with managing and nurturing client/partner relationships by executing sales strategies that drive growth and maximize revenue within your customer base.

Your role will be instrumental in driving customer satisfaction, fostering long-term partnerships, and identifying opportunities for account growth and expansion.

You will work closely with the Head of Sales and Business Development to develop and implement strategies that maximize revenue and solidify our position as a leading provider of dairy products in our respective category market.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts(s), ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining strong, trustbased relationships.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of each client's business objectives, challenges, and requirements, and proactively offer tailored solutions to meet their evolving needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to contribute to the development and execution of strategic account plans, focusing on achieving revenue targets and overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key clients to assess performance, discuss opportunities for growth, and ensure alignment with their business goals.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, listing gaps and incremental promotional activity as it relates to the Strategic Plan.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure seamless delivery of services and support for assigned accounts.
  • Work closely with internal departments as necessary to ensure effective execution of customer forecasts, program accruals, promotional activity, quality control and quality assurance concerns.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer feedback to identify potential growth opportunities and anticipate challenges in the market.
  • Prepare detailed account performance reports, highlighting key metrics, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Lead contract negotiations as, renewals, and discussions on terms and pricing, ensuring mutual benefits for both our company and our customers.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field.
  • 24 years of experience in an account management role, preferably in the dairy or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing accounts and delivering exceptional results in terms of client retention and revenue growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex contract discussions and agreements.
  • Knowledge of the Canadian industry, market trends, and competitive landscape is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 3050% as required.
  • Passport, ability to travel internationally as required.
