Overview:
Oversee the ongoing administration of seasonal payroll processes for over 4,000 seasonal associates meeting all required deadlines. This is a full-time/permanent position that requires flexible availability including weekends.


Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the ongoing administration of seasonal payroll processes meeting all required deadlines
  • Followup on all seasonal associate Direct Deposit information; ensure mandatory setup
  • Train the Associate Services' staff in related payroll areas such as pay cheque distribution and payroll inquiries
  • Aid seasonal associates (in person and over the phone) regarding all seasonal payroll matters
  • Assist associates with accessing earnings statements in Dayforce and understanding the content
  • Assist with UKG training for all applicable associates and supervisors/managers
  • Develop learning tools and resources for UKG and Dayforce to assist associates and supervisors/managers
  • Participate in weekly UKG/Payroll calls as well as any other calls/meetings set up by Corporate
  • Troubleshoot UKG, Dayforce and payroll issues; offer solutions; followup with all applicable parties (e.g. associates, supervisors, mangers, Corporate Payroll and/or TAC etc.)
  • Liaise with Workforce Management
  • Canada's Wonderland and Corporate as needed to resolve any issues related to scheduling or UKG setup
  • Resolve seasonal associate payroll inquiries using the set process and ensure all back pay that is owed is processed
  • Log and mail all inactive seasonal associates' cheques if applicable, and if requested, Records of Employment
  • Learn applicable TAC team functions and meet any required deadlines
  • Learn and handle the ongoing administration of fulltime payroll meeting all required deadlines when assigned
  • Assist with other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Previous customer service and administrative experience is an asset
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills and strong decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
  • Previous experience with UKG and Ceridian Dayforce an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines
  • Able to work flexible hours, including on weekends and holidays and have a reliable source of transportation
