- Manage a production team of hourly employees, on multiple lines, leading by example and ensuring
- Plan production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products including but
- Lead by example to train, develop, and inspire production teams to establish a high-performance culture,
- Responsible for maximizing the efficiency on each line, working collaboratively with other departments (ie.
- Lead and drive root cause analysis to identify and eliminate issues that may arise, recommending solutions
- Partner with temp agencies as the primary contact to review people requirements, and staff shift
- Responsible for reviewing and approving employee hours through the payroll system (ADP), as well as
- Work alongside the People & Values team regarding any employee relations that may occur, including
- Provide proactive Health & Safety leadership, to ensure that our behaviour-based observations are
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Food Science, Business Operations, or a related field (or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience within a Manufacturing environment preferred, with a good understanding of
- Proficient computer skills, including and not limited to Microsoft Office, and familiarity working with ERP.
- Excellent team building and management skills, with the ability to lead and coach teams to achieve
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and ADAPTABLILITY
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrates HUMILITY on a day-to-day basis.
