The Canadian Personal & Commercial Finance (CAD P&C) team provides business advisory support to all business units across Personal and Business Banking.

The team supports development and achievement of financial and strategic objectives by providing reporting and forecasting capabilities, analysis, insights, and advice to business leaders on both financial and business matters.


The Canadian Personal & Commercial Innovation & Process Improvement Pod is focused on identification and execution of numerous process improvement opportunities CAD P&C that will help create capacity, explore standardization, and collaborate with numerous partners on solutions that will include leveraging different tools to streamline processes and deliverables.


Job Description:


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Innovation & Process Improvement, the Manager will act as a Project Lead or business representative for a number of initiatives, working closely with various Finance teams as well as other stakeholders.

In addition, the incumbent will also be involved with other broad-based initiatives and projects as a business representative for Canadian Personal & Commercial Finance.


This individual possesses strong leadership skills, demonstrates proficient time management skills, and be results driven with an aptitude to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.

Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Role of a Project Lead, or business representative, providing relevant and meaningful information, advice, and guidance to project and business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify opportunities for innovation & process improvement that will deliver key business value, create capacity and improve productivity
  • Process improvementoriented mindset, being able to quickly understand the bigger picture and provide recommendations for consideration
  • Ensure project activities and milestones are completed within the established timeframe and deliverables meet the business requirements
  • Develop key relationships by working closely with key partners/stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development, preparation, documentation, and review of use case requirements
  • Coordinate projecttoproduction activities including process maps, testing, training and other activities as required
  • Analyze current system/operational processes against future state processes, reconcile and explain gaps, identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies, and report issues
  • Seek innovative solutions to remove redundancies and optimize efficiency through technology and process enhancements

Requirements:


Qualifications / Skills / Experience:


  • Positive attitude and the ability to embrace change
  • Previous Project experience
  • Previous Management Reporting / Finance experience including planning, forecasting, and reporting cycles would be an asset but not a requirement
  • Proven analytical capability and problemresolution skills
  • Strong mindset for strategy, transformation, and process improvement
  • Highly proactive, motivated, and dedicated individual with initiative to think strategically, and investigate and contribute to the resolution of issues with quick turnaround
  • Ability to drive results based on objectives
  • Thrive in a fastpaced environment, able to quickly adapt to situations/challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Team player with strong ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Ability to remain flexible with shifting priorities and function under deadlines with mínimal supervision
  • Knowledge of reporting systems (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Ebusiness suite, Tableau, Alteryx) an asset, but not a requirement
Additional Information

This is a hybrid role with a minimum 2 days per week in-office in Toronto.
