Resource Development Coordinator
The Resource Development Coordinator will be responsible for leading and coordinating Blue Door's signature event, supporting third-party fundraisers, community outreach, and stewardship.
What does a Resource Development Coordinator do?
- Event Management: Lead planning and execution of signature fundraising events, secure sponsors, recruit volunteers, and evaluate event success.
- Community Outreach: Represent Blue Door at community events, coordinate outreach opportunities, and communicate organization goals effectively.
- Individual Giving and Stewardship: Support stewardship activities, assist with donor engagement strategies, and develop fundraising campaigns.
- Operational Assistance: Provide support to the Resource Development team, manage donor database, and assist with various fundraising activities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate professional relationships with donors, stakeholders, and community members to enhance engagement and support.
- Reporting and Documentation: Ensure accuracy of donor stewardship list, assist with data entry and reporting, and contribute to the annual impact report.
What you bring to the table
- Postsecondary education in fundraising, event management, business, or a related field.
- 12 years experience in planning events and/or individual giving is an asset.
- Experience in managing committees and volunteers.
- Knowledge of the housing and the homelessness sector and fundraising best practices are an asset.
- Experience with donor relationship management and database tools, including DonorPerfect and Salesforce, are an asset.
- Valid Driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance. Ability to travel throughout York Region.
Salary information:
$50,000-$55,000

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
