Jaguar Land Rover Ottawa is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team. We offer a great earnings potential with ongoing training and excellent working conditions. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about automobiles and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide them with a warm and welcoming experience upon arrival at the dealership.
  • Listen attentively to customers' needs and preferences to understand their requirements for a new or pre-owned vehicle.
  • Showcase vehicles and demonstrate their features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Conduct test drives and accompany customers on a journey to discover the perfect vehicle for them.
  • Provide accurate information on pricing, financing options, and additional services available to customers.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and meet dealership objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date on products, technologies, and industry trends to effectively advise customers and address inquiries.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently.
  • Follow the dealership's and the brand's pre-set procedures and policies
  • Maintain excellent email etiquette when responding to leads
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with customers and record data

Qualifications:

  • Organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with customers.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Ability to work both independently as well as alongside a team
  • Ability to overcome customer objections
  • Knowledge of JLR vehicles and their features is a plus.
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in luxury market required
  • Social media knowledge is an asset
  • OMVIC certificate required.
  • Bilingualism an asset
