About the Opportunity
We are currently looking for an experienced full-time saw operator based in Brampton, Ontario. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play an active role in fulfilling customer orders.

You will collaborate with key internal and external business partners to ensure the highest levels of customer service are maintained.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Operation of a horizontal beam saw
Operation of a vertical panel saw
Operation of a table saw
Cutting and packaging customer orders
Liaising with internal business partners
Assisting with other warehouse functions as set out by the Warehouse Manager.

About You

To qualify for the position:

You must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
You must have experience as a saw operator, with specific experience using the following:
Large vertical panel saw (e.g. Holzher)
Large horizontal beam saw (e.g. Schelling or Hendrick)
You must display an outstanding attention to detail.
You mustbe able to complete projects within expedited timelines.
You must be selfmotivated and able to work independently.
You must be customer service driven.
Experience with using hand scanners for picking & processing orders, preferable.
Currently licensed to operate and counterbalance forklift, preferable.

In addition, skills, knowledge, and experience in the following are crucial to succeed in this role:

Excellent attendance management.
Outstanding interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven time management skill.
Background in plastic supply and manufacturing (an asset).
