What We're Looking For
Northern is looking to add an experienced
Commerce-focused, Account Executive to our growing Revenue team. The
Account Executive drives revenue by prospecting, qualifying, and supporting the close of
Commerce sales.
This individual participates in all phases of the sales cycle, and is responsible for managing and maintaining high client satisfaction levels, while promoting the Northern brand.

Duties & Responsibilities
-
New business development; identify potential clients in Northern's target markets and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business

Build strong rapport with prospects to understand their unique business goals, needs, and pains

Advise prospects to grow their business with Northern service offerings, focusing on
Commerce and including CMS and digital marketing solutions

Build strong relationships with representatives and leaders within Northern's technology partner ecosystem, driving revenue to the organization through mutually beneficial co-marketing and co-selling strategies

Advocate Northern's solutions by attending conferences as requested, participating in networking events within the community, and seeking out speaking engagements within targeted business verticals

Contribute to and
promote sales and marketing events and campaigns to
build new opportunities in specific market verticals

Collaborate with members of the Revenue team to
take qualified leads forward through deeper discovery to opportunity creation and closing
- Work with members of Northern's Solutions and Accounts teams to create project and/or partnership proposals, communicating with prospective clients as needed
Assist with the
planning and execution of Northern's customer events, virtually and in-person, within our key verticals
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required
-
3-5 years experience in
Commerce sales, preferably in a large technology organization or agency environment

Experience selling at the Director, VP, and/or C-Level leaders in IT and Marketing
- Track record of
achieving or exceeding sales quotes / targets: - Experience and
confidence speaking publicly and making presentations as needed
Demonstrated experience and ability to
think strategically and quickly offer
creative solutions:
- Results oriented, self-motivated, service -oriented, driven and disciplined
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and followthrough skills
- Ability and willingness to travel across North America
Bonus Skills
- Previous experience with outbound calling and lead generation experience would be an asset
- Google Suite, CRM (Salesforce), and sales tools (ex. ZoomInfo, Saleswings) experience would be an asset
