Description

Under the supervision of the Managing Director, the Pricing Analyst performs the tasks related to the pricing of the logistics services according to the customer needs while ensuring exceptional customer service.

• Analyze and understand customer expectations and needs.
• Based on customer expectations and needs, obtain, and analyse cost effective proposals from most relevant service providers.
• Provide summary of options for consideration by client andor sales.

• Prepare air and ocean quotes for customers, agents, and sales reps.
• Work with Procurement team and negotiate rates with airlines, suppliers, and agents.
• Followup with clients after submitting a quote.
• Establish a strategy for rejected quotation and adjust for the future.
• Maintain up to date the rates of airlines / Ocean providers and suppliers in the database.
• Find innovative solutions to offer the best solution / rate for each client.
• Ensure that the option chosen and offered to the customer is reliable and available for booking.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Use clear and detailed communication when technical information needs to be explained to customers.
• Work in accordance with all policies and procedures established by Cargolution.
• Produce a specific number of quotes over a predetermined period of time.
• Work on detailed reports about accepted vs rejected quotations.
• Continuously optimize the method used to obtain the rates.
• Perform in accordance with agreed KPI established in conjunction with management.

• College diploma in Transportation Logistics.
• Minimum 45 years of experience in transportation logistics pricing.

• Proficient in working with MS Office.
• Proficient of CargoWise quote module an asset.
• Share, adopt and demonstrate the company's mission and values and be a spokesperson for them.
