Demolition work

• Minor framing work
• All general labour
• Drywall work
• Flooring
• Landscaping
• Concrete work
• Moving heavy furniture and equipment
• Climbing ladders and going into crawlspaces as needed
• Gathering tools and supplies, and bringing them to the worksite
• Finding ways to reduce costs of equipment and supplies
• Driving trucks or vans with supplies to work sites
• Keeping trucks and storage areas neat and clean
• Checking inventory and ordering supplies when needed
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Load, unload and transport construction materials to work areas.
• General clean up on sites from used materials etc.

- maintain project schedule and achieve deadlines
- provide assistance to contractor

• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites
• Assist tradespersons such as carpenters, bricklayers, cement finishers, roofers and glaziers in construction activities
• Level earth to fine grade specifications using rake and shovel
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed

Salary:
$22.50-$25.00 per hour

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

- construction: 1 year (preferred)
