    Overview


    The Facilities Technician 4 is responsible for the provision of building operations, maintenance and repairs in assigned facilities according to the respective Technician's qualifications. This job works on a wide variety of assigned tasks.

    Responsibilities

    • Building maintenance and repairs
    • Ensure building compliance and code is adhered to
    • Contractor oversight and management
    • Manage workloads
    • On call availability
    • Reports and all written documentation and process are followed
    • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
    • Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by and in accordance with all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental company policies and government legislation/regulations
    • Adhere to the Company's Quality System operating procedures
    • Perform other duties as assigned by Management

    Qualifications

    • 5 to 10 years' experience as a Certified Journeyman technician or equivalent
    • Knowledge of Building Automation systems (BAS)
    • Self-motivated, willing to learn
    • Works well independently and is a team player
    • Presents and maintains a positive and professional image
    • Writing and verbal communication skill is a must
    • Awareness of Environment, Health & Safety Issues
    • Required to obtain/maintain a security clearance - A valid driver's license is required
    • Must climb ladders
    • Basic computer skills is required

    The pay range is $30.00 -$55.00 per hour. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth's total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as health insurance, among others.
