We are a Framing Contractor with over 40 years of experience in framing new home low
- and mid-rise residential projects in the GTA.


Position Overview
We are seeking a self-motivated, hardworking and organized individual to fill an Estimator position.

Reporting to Senior Management and based out of our head office, the Estimator will be responsible for the following tasks:

Project estimation, from take-off to completion of project:

• Prepare accurate framing labour take-offs according to our industry's collective agreement with Local 183, using a software take-off tool.
• Enter takeoffs in a Sage Estimating Database
• Perform site visits to ensure accuracy of estimates and bridge any communication gaps related to project between field staff and head office.
• Work closely with senior managers and maintain good communication with subcontractors and customers.

Document Management:

• Organize client documents (architectural drawings, engineering documents, customer changes etc.) and store on the company's server.
• Prepare construction document packages for site supervisor's and/or subcontractors

Health & Safety:

• Ensure compliance to the company's health and safety standards, by qualifying subcontractors for Health and Safety Requirements and Records of Training
• Must be able to read and understand construction drawings and contract documents, to fully understand scope of work, timelines and contract requirements
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is an asset.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

Salary:
$65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
