Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and share export documentation of all modes of transport (Air, Ocean, Road and Intermodal) with customers, brokers, customs authorities and other stakeholders.
- Track and trace bookings and vessel schedules
- Open files, enter shipment information and maintain the system with accurate and updated information.
- Responding to customers inquiries and facilitating the resolution of problems in a timely manner.
- Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including customs and export requirements.
- Handle letters of credit, documentary collections and other banking documents covering international shipments.
- Performing other duties as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good attitude
- Strong organizational skills
- Data input accuracy and efficiency
- Great attention to detail
- Knowledge of Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Health Certificate, Letter of Credits and any other traderelated documentation.
Experience
- University/college education preferably with a concentration in supply chain logistics or related.
- Export coordination experience an asset
- Logistics / Transportation : 12 years experience
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (9 am - 5 pm)
Salary:
Commensurate with experience
