:

Community Services Attendant (Senior)
SeasonalUnder the direction of the Superintendent of Parks and Facilities, undertakes various park maintenance tasks and performs general custodial duties and program requirements as assigned in the operation and maintenance of Conlon Farm and all other parks/facilities in the Town of Perth. In addition, also performs generic maintenance and custodial tasks for the overall Community Services Department.

The position will start on April 1 and finish on October 31, 2023, and involves weekend work up to 24 hours per week.

This position is placed on the "L" Panel (current hourly rate of $15.50 to $17.55/hr., plus $1.00/hr. lieu of benefits).

Community Services Attendant(s)
Seasonal (6 positions)Reporting to the Community Services Lead Hands, this position assists in the maintenance and care of all Town parks and facilities.

The position requires working a variety of shifts, including days, evenings and weekends.

The position will start on May 1st, and finish on September 4th, 2023, and involves weekend work up to 37.50 hours per week.

This position has an hourly rate from $14.60 to $17.80/hr.

Summer Evening/Weekend Supervisor
SeasonalReporting to the Superintendent of Parks and Facilities, working evenings and weekends providing maintenance and care of Town parks and facilities. Responsible for ensuring that parttime, evening and weekend staff work in accordance with the Town of Perth Health & Safety Policies and the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act, will maintain appropriate records and ensure that all tasks are performed as assigned.

The position will start on April 1 and finish on October 31, 2023 for up to 24 hours per week.

This position has an hourly rate from $15.74 to $23.70/hr.

Pool Day Camp Supervisor
SeasonalReporting to the Indoor Pool Manager, applicants must have experience dealing with children and excellent organizational skills. They will be responsible for planning and facilitating the daily activities and outings. NLS (National Lifesaving Society) certification and Swim Instructor certification are desired. Current First Aid, CPR-C/AED are required.

The position will start on June 1st, and finish on September 4th, 2023 and may be scheduled up to 40 hours per week.

This position has an hourly rate from $15.74 to $23.70.

Curatorial Assistant(s) - Seasonal (2 positions)

The Curatorial Assistant will assist with collections management, exhibition installation, data entry, object photography, customer service, program planning, and light housekeeping.

Grass Cutting Crew
Seasonal (3 positions)Responsible to the Lead Hand of Roads or designate, for performing grass maintenance at municipal parks, boulevards, and right of ways. This position requires the employee to operate various equipment from including rideon lawnmower, push mowers, and grass trimmers. They will be responsible to perform documentation of activities and to work independently under the direction of supervisory staff. Other duties may be assigned such as assisting with general department maintenance.

These are 40-hour per week positions that will begin Spring 2023 and last until September 4th, 2023. These positions have an hourly rate from $14.60 to $16.45/hour.
