DESCRIPTION:
Provide customer service to direct delivery customers, taking orders and releasing for shipment, maintaining customer data, and work with warehouse and sales staff to resolve related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls with direct delivery customers to arrange orders in accordance with multiple delivery schedules and deadlines; advise customers of promotional opportunities or new products as appropriate
- Investigate and follow through to resolve related service issues, working with warehouse, sales, and delivery staff and supervisor as necessary
- Enter orders for direct delivery into Oracle, then release to warehouse management system for shipping
- Maintain uptodate customer information and daily call sheets and update as necessary
- Support Ontario Supply group as required
- Exchange information with Warehouse staff and Sales Representatives regarding orders and customer issues
- Support adherence to quality and food safety standards as required
- Perform other related duties, as required
Requirements:
- Minimum secondary school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years customer service experience, including 1 year call centre experience
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build effective working relationships, both internal and external to the organization
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a fast paced environment
- Acceptable criminal background check
- Ability to support and project values compatible with the organization
