Business Development Representative - Ottawa, Canada - R.W. Tomlinson Limited
Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide sales assists to other Tomlinson sales representative.
- Qualify leads by asking questions and determining their level of interest and readiness to purchase.
- Conduct sales presentations or demos to showcase the company's rolloff bins and portable toilets.
- Close sales by negotiating contracts and pricing, handling objections, and finalizing the sale.
- Manage customer accounts by maintaining relationships, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as operations and logistics, to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of lead information in the Salesforce CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on sales activity and sales metrics to management.
- Continuously learn and improve sales skills and techniques through training and professional development opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the rolloff bin and portable toilet industry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong customer service and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Familiarity with the industry and market trends.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- This is not an officebased position. 95% on the road in the territory
- Company truck provided
- May require occasional travel to meet with customers or attend industry events.
