Driver Mobility - North Grenville, Canada - Mobility Transportation Specialist

Description

• Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport riders with physical and/or mental challenges as well as conventional transit riders within the boundaries of North Grenville. must be available for to work 2 days a week 1213hr shifts shifts are 8am9pm Mon-Sat and 8am8pm Sun. provide escorted door to door service for riders with physical and/or mental challenges
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving, including maintaining a clean driving record
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate and resolve any issues that may arise

• Valid G driver's license provide a current 3 year uncertified Driver's Abstract Emergency First Aid/AED level C provide a current Vulnerable Sector Screening letter from area Police Services able to perform medium physical activities which may require pushing a wheelchair able to drive an accessible Dodge ProMaster van, carries up to 9 passengers
• Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision training will be provided on vehicle operation and safe usage of wheelchair lift and securement procedures

• 12 hour shift

• North Grenville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
