- Relevant and proven industry knowledge and experience within engineering Consulting or EPC Services with a solid understanding and experience in supervising and collaborating with Mechanical, Structural, Civil, and Electrical engineers
- Understanding project life cycles from the concept and feasibility phases, through to construction for industrial facilities with a background in codes, standards, and protocols.
About the Role
The Project Consultant is a core member at the top of the Project Delivery Team, focusing on overall client satisfaction through successful project planning initiatives, being the key point of contact for clients, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
You will oversee multiple projects with 2-3 project engineers reporting to you, each making a 2-person team per project that will act as a key point of contact with clients.
The role is a hybrid of Project Management, along with technical consultation of clients and internal resources for delivery.The role will start as in-office during the onboarding and training period and will transition to Enginuity's Hybrid Work Policy.

Your Qualifications

Must be in good standing with EGBC as a Professional Engineer (P.
Eng), and be able to maintain relevant professional accreditation:
- Postsecondary education is required, with a preference in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience with a strong focus on managing and directing resources, design coordination during the engineering phase, stakeholder management, and mentorship of juniors
- Must have experience working in a similar capacity/role, in a consulting, EPCM, or engineering services environment
- Must be fluent in English (native or bilingual), have highly effective written and oral communication and presentation skills, and ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, trades personnel, engineers, etc., and to resolve situations requiring immediate judgment
- Must have a passion for learning and understanding new industries and projects
- An inquisitive, clear thinker who can determine what work is required and can draw rational conclusions from the information available
- Carry a Class 5 driver's license
and own a vehicle: - Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
