Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and fellow employees
  • Communicate and respond to any concerns or challenges our guest's or clients are experiencing
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns, follow through to assure satisfactory outcome and compliance
  • Day to day supervision and smooth operation of the front office with continued training and compliance support for our front office team members
  • Coordinating with the front office team to ensure any changes to accommodation requests have been completed and information relayed to all groups
  • Gives constructive feedback to team members to assist them in their overall job performance
  • Collaborates with managers, supervisors, and hourly team members to develop and carry out ideas and procedures to continuously improve guest services and overall lodge performance
  • Ensure Front Office operations run smoothly in accordance with best practices, operating in accordance with the policies, procedures and quality standards established by the management team
  • Thorough understanding and effective use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Assist with daytoday operations of the lodge, providing clerical assistance to all departments
  • Assist with community events as required by the Community Relations Manager
  • Assisting in other areas of our operations as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Previous related supervisory experience in hotel front office and reservations programs are an asset
  • 5+ years supervisory experience
  • Computer literate with knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Ability to develop, motivate and lead colleagues
  • Strong proven rapport in customer service relations
  • Strong numerical aptitude
  • Ability to problem solve and deal with ambiguity
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Postsecondary education in a related discipline is desirable
  • Valid Drivers, with a 5year driving record satisfactory to Civeo's driving criteria
  • Must be able to pass a preaccess Drug & Alcohol test
