Description
Under the supervision of the Operations Supervisor and Housekeeper Supervisor, the housekeeper's primary responsibilities include facility sanitation, surface cleaning, operation and upkeep of job related equipment, mopping, sweeping and garbage and recycling removal.
Housekeepers will look after general building cleanliness and are responsible to ensure the facilities are clean and presentable at all times.
Job Functions:
Janitorial duties such as cleaning public entrances and access ways, bleachers and seating areas, suites, dressing rooms, offices, stairwells, washrooms, etc.
Making legible records of notable areas requiring further attention by post shift staff and providing records of completed tasks and areas for the Housekeeping Supervisor.
Qualification:
Previous related experience an asset
Willing and able to work nights, weekends and holidays
Good communication, both written and verbal
Working knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to the job function (i.e. floor scrubbers, vacuum cleaners, carpet cleaners, etc.)
Solid customer service practices
Honest, responsible, dependable
Physical Demands:
Ability to kneel, crouch and reach for prolonged periods of time
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work from an elevated position
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
Ability to problem solve and think critically
Ability to work quickly and efficiently
Ability to work independently or with a team

$17.00 per hour
