Finance and Vendor Management Analyst - Markham, Canada - Aviva

We are looking for a positive, inquisitive and collaborative Finance Analyst will support the Finance & Vendor Management Lead in the oversight and administration of the Program cost models, Invoices reconciliation, oversight and proactive follow up for pending invoices across IT and Finance (Accounts Payable).
- Responsible for building and managing cost models for all Programs under Information Technology effficiently
- Support review of business cases, costs, budgets, staffing requirements, resources and benefits realization plans for large scale projects/programs proficiently
- Support design, development and reporting via QLIK dashboards as it relates to portfolio's finance health
- Integrates information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, improved analysis and/or streamlined reporting
- Collaborative and build and foster interpersonal relationships with internal partners to communicate information and decisions regarding the portfolio, to identify internal client needs, and to discuss and resolve issues
- Work closely with Line Managers to manage portfolio resources aligned to the dedicated resource model
- Bachelor's degree in science, technology, business management or similar
- 5+ years handson experience reporting with meticulous attention to details on projects and cost models
- 3+ years of experience in portfolio management, data analyses on all aspects of project lifecycle delivery
- Proficiency in project portfolio reporting, proficiency in excel, power point.
- Proficiency in Atlassian tools specifically Jira
- Experience with analyzing disparate data sets to guide strategic decision making
- Ability to turn data into a story and effectively communicate to senior leaders and partners
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
