Elements Casino Victoria is on the lookout for a Server to join our Food & Beverage team.

Key Accountabilities

Informs guests of any daily specials
Explains how various menu items or beverages are prepared if applicable
Takes the guests orders and makes recommendations
Serves the guests and checks to ensure satisfaction
Prepares food and beverages if applicable
Resolves guests issues or asks management for assistance
Presents bill upon request and takes payment in the absence of a cashier
Cleans tables or counters, removes dishes and re-stocks where applicable
Performs opening or closing duties as required
Counts cash float at end of shift if applicable
Covers other servers' sections when required
Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Education and Qualifications

Minimum 1 year serving experience
Serving it Right Certificate
Post-Secondary hospitality or hotel education an asset
Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
POS and Squirrel experience
Ability to work well in a team environment, strong communication & organizational skills
A passion for providing the Essential Elements of Excellence Guest Service to our internal and external guests
A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
