Position Overview:


Under the direction of the Front Office Manager and Front Office Supervisor's, the Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for the nightly audit functions which support the hotel operation by determining the daily income of the property and verifying that all customer accounts are correct and balanced.

Also responsible for providing customer service to both internal and external customers.


Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 yearsexperience in guest services role in a related industry.
  • Minimum 2 yearsexperience with Micros Opera Property Management System.
  • Duty Manager or Security experience an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to stay focused, courteous, and energetic during the overnight shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible and reliable schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks; be able to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently and work with a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and to meet all deadlines.
  • Strong guest relations experience with the ability to handle guest situations.
  • Flexible, positive and energetic with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong data entry, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in Micros Opera, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be selfmotivating and have a high degree analytical ability and confidentiality, and work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Must accomplish work with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to respond to all guests, hotel requests, and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
  • To continuously patrol and inspect assigned areas as scheduled, and promptly report any irregularities, hazardous conditions and suspicious occurrences.
