The Opportunity

  • Oversee and maintain daily shipping, receiving, warehousing and distribution operations in a 25,000 sq ft warehouse.
  • Use our software (Sales Force & Shopify) to receive, track, and manage inventory in our CDC and ship product as needed to our 10 ReStores and create reports for KPI's.
  • Maintain consistent communication and deliver exceptional customer service to our 10 ReStore's across the GTA
  • Ensure a safe work environment by completing daily safety inspections, following health and safety protocols, and working directly with the Health and Safety Manager to continuously improve the safety of our warehouse team.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Corporate Team, Procurement Team, Regional Manager of Logistics, and Store Managers) to ensure our ability to accept and distribute products to our 10 ReStores is fair and equitable.
  • Develop warehouse processes that grow the capacity for receiving, storing and distributing products.
  • Unload and load shipments from trucks and 53'trailers, pack and sort skids, and manage flow of inventory in and out of the warehouse.
  • Ensure products, items and materials are sorted, labeled, and stored in an orderly fashion according to company policies and procedures.
  • Support with developing reports, analyzing data, and assessing performance to achieve and maintain targets and budgets.
  • Coach, mentor and develop the Warehouse Coordinator, Volunteers, (and other warehouse employees as required.
  • Safely operate trucks, forklift and other machinery as required
  • Contribute to the vision and strategies of the Procurement department.

What you Bring:


  • 3+ years of warehouse management experience
  • 1 3 years of people management experience
  • A valid class G driver's license and a clean driver's abstract are required.
  • Forklift certification is considered an asset.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting on a regular basis (50 + pounds)
  • Experience using webbased platforms (Outlook, Word and Excel, Sales Force, Shopify)
  • Proven knowledge and experience with health and safety best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Process and resultsoriented with an ability to work in a fastpaced, highvolume environment.
  • Collaborative team player and an ability to be "handson" while effectively managing the team and overseeing the department.
  • Strong interpersonal communications and customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
