    JOB SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Executive Director, in this fulltime role (student must be able to work 30 hours/week, and commit to a minimum of 6 weeks of employment, maximum of 15 weeks), you will have a variety of tasks, including working in the warehouse, sorting food, preparing hampers, coordinating volunteers, and assisting with general administration.

    • START DATE: Immediate
    • HOURLY RATE: $15

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    • Assist in the warehouse, as needed, weighing and sorting food, etc.
    • Collaborate with OFBA Executive Director to ensure a sufficient number of volunteers are on hand to perform necessary tasks
    • Assist with the food hamper sessions and Help Yourself Shelves program
    • Perform administrative duties as required

    SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

    • Some post-secondary education is preferred but not required
    • Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. as well as push, pull, bend, lift, carry, etc.
    • Ability to work as a team member, must work well with others
    • Ability to work with the volunteers, donor community and clients
    • Demonstrated responsibility, maturity and leadership abilities
    • Willingness to undertake training as required
