Reporting to the Executive Director, in this fulltime role (student must be able to work 30 hours/week, and commit to a minimum of 6 weeks of employment, maximum of 15 weeks), you will have a variety of tasks, including working in the warehouse, sorting food, preparing hampers, coordinating volunteers, and assisting with general administration.
START DATE: Immediate
HOURLY RATE: $15
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist in the warehouse, as needed, weighing and sorting food, etc.
Collaborate with OFBA Executive Director to ensure a sufficient number of volunteers are on hand to perform necessary tasks
Assist with the food hamper sessions and Help Yourself Shelves program
Perform administrative duties as required
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Some post-secondary education is preferred but not required
Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. as well as push, pull, bend, lift, carry, etc.
Ability to work as a team member, must work well with others
Ability to work with the volunteers, donor community and clients
Demonstrated responsibility, maturity and leadership abilities
Willingness to undertake training as required
