Caneda Transport is seeking an Cross Canada Owner Operator Team to join our team

The Owner Operator Team is responsible maintaining and operating a commercial motor vehicle transporting LTL and FTL as required throughout Canada.

The Owner Operator Team must understand that the company operates in a changing environment, and that he or she must be responsive to change.

As a result, new directives maybe added or deleted from the list of responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the proper loading and securing of freight to prevent movement and allow for safe transportation of materials
Responsible for daily completion of all required paperwork, such as Bill of Ladings, load sheets, ELD logs, scaling truck and trailer before commencing on trips, etc.
Perform pretrip, intertrip and post trip vehicle inspections and adjustments, preventive maintenance, tire chainups, brake adjustments and minor onroad repairs as needed
Pick up and deliver freight in a timely and safe manner
Canada Only

Qualifications:

Valid AZ (Class 1) driver's license
Commercial driving experience required
Minimum 35 years LTL driving experience preferred
Reliable, flexible, and punctual
Strong communication skills
Values and prioritized safety
Successfully complete Caneda prescreen requirements
