About the Position
In this role you would proactively support our employees through employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and leave management. This is a hands-on role covering all aspects of the employment relationship.


What You'll Do
- _Recruiting_: from posting, coordinating and participating in interviews through to job offer.
- _Onboarding_: ensuring our new team members have everything they need to be set up for success.
- _Employee Relations_: build strong respectful relationships with all employees and provide support and information on available resources.
- _Performance Management_: support managers on how to coach and enforce expectations, assisting with progressive discipline when necessary.
- _Investigations & Terminations_: Conduct investigations and process terminations as required.
- _Leave Management_: process injury, parental and short-term disability leaves ensuring the employee is properly supported.
- _ESG_: Assist with integrating our Environmental, Social and Governance goals into our culture.


What You'll Need:


  • 4+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Postsecondary education in Human Resources Management, or another related discipline
  • Strong understanding of employment legislation
  • Professional HR certification preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in office skills such as, typing, filing organization, and research
  • Proficiency in the use of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel), human resources information systems (e.g. Dayforce HCM) and internetbased programs.
