Description

DESA Glass is a family-owned and operated Canadian company based out of Rocky View, County. We are a leader in commercial glazing and manufacturer of proprietary aluminum building envelope systems.

We are looking for the right individual to join our team as a
Delivery Driver to complete material pick up and deliveries with the possibility for other tasks as required to meet company needs.

Position and Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading of goods
Communication and interaction with clients / vendors
Plan and coordinate deliveries with project team
Drive in a safe and defensive manner at all times, avoid careless errors at all costs
Care for the truck and materials as required by standard operating procedures
Produce and maintain accurate, updated inspection reports (pretrip, posttrip, etc.)
Accident / incident reports / other safety reports as required
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to feel objects, tools, or controls.

Requirements:

Driver License
Steel toed safety boots
Legally allowed to work in Canada
Physically able to lift 50ibs on a regular basis

Nice to haves:

Class 1 driver's license
Picker crane experience
Previous industry experience; delivery / material pick up, working on or around construction sites, other relevant experience.

From $18.00 per hour
