The carpenter is responsible for performing carpentry work in the form of major renovations, home additions, and new construction on residential building projects.
Requirements:
- Has a demonstrated trackrecord of success, experience and skills with residential carpentry projects.
- Proven experience with site preparation (demolition), and rough carpentry (framing and concrete forming)
- Able to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Proactive in recognizing project and material requirements.
- Uses logic and smarts to effectively and efficiently solve problems and work with trade partners.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills and enjoys working with people.
- Uses creativity and detailorientation to envision a final product and ensure spoton execution.
- Has an excellent customerservice mindset that is responsible, respectable and personable.
- Is reliable and punctual.
- Able to work autonomously and is a selfstarter.
- Supplies and takes pride in personal set of basic tools and safety equipment.
- Has a valid driver's license and vehicle to get to and from work
Job Responsibilities:
- Takes responsibility for daily management of site coordination and site organization.
- Ensures daily site cleanup occurs.
Project dependent, performs the following carpentry duties:
- Layouts, forming, and pouring concrete grade beams and walls
- Framing renovations and new construction
- Siding
- Building envelope
- Window and door installation
Project dependent, performs the following site preparation duties:
- Demolition
- Mobilization and demobilization/cleanup
- Operating company equipment
- Sets up and maintains project signage.
- Follows project schedule and works closely with site supervisor and construction manager
- Liaises with subtrades
- Interfaces with building and municipal officials on site.
- Manages, organizes and resolves warranty items.
- Other duties as required.
Salary:
$25.00-$40.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
