Supportive, caring, positive communications and actions while implementing the programs and curriculums as daily basis.

Encouraging, nurturing guidance towards kids under our care to help them learning, anticipating, and practicing lifelong lessons.

Effective, resourceful, flexible, able to manage classroom program including planning and implementing an age appropriate program that reflects "How Does Learning Happen".

Curriculum includes circle time learnings:

practical life tasks, sensorium, Language, story telling, Mathematics, reading, Art, music, science, cultural Extensions, Nature, activities, projects, free play and observation to create dairy log, Enrichment programs such as Dance, Kids Yoga, Exercise, sports and games indoors and outdoor.

Supervise, and guide Outdoor active play time with programs and activities based on the observations and interests of the children.

Other tasks:

• Set up of play areas, learning areas, projects according to the program plan
• The implementation and supervision of the different activities.
• Collaborate with other program staff to organize the room in a safe, engaging and appealing way to allow for group, individual, quiet and active play.
• Cleanup of children's activities and learning areas, after snacks and meals and sanitizing.
• Completion of forms, observations and documentation, programplanning, children's routines, accidents, etc.
• Supervision of playground, making sure all areas are safe from hazards. (e.g. removal of broken equipment from play areas)
• Provide coverage to maintain legislated ratios at various times of the day, monitoring small groups of children
• Interact with children of various ages in a positive, nurturing and developmentally appropriate manner
• Interact with parents, colleagues and visitors in a professional manner
• Adhere to all COVID19 cleaning guidelines.
• Maintain day to day liaison with parents/guardians with regards to child's wellbeing, daily routines and learning.
• Regularly Participate in relevant professional development opportunities according to the professional standards
• Keep Manager/ Director advised of any pertinent information regarding parents, children and/or staff.
• Supervise and coordinate with assistant staff to ensure necessary day to day duties and activities are performed for running the program.
• Maintain parent information board, children's files (including illness and incident reports), and necessary documentation (ie. Schedules, safety checks, attendance records, fire drill reports)
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and confidentiality.
• Initiate monthly fire drills and evacuation procedures.
• Report all accidents, injuries and illnesses to the Manager/ Director and complete incident reports and/or serious occurrence reports as necessary.

$19.00-$22.00 per hour
