- NH3 Asset Regulatory Compliance
- Complete all required NH3 Training
- Be familiar with all Emergency Response procedures
- Monitor and Evaluate approved Anhydrous Ammonia PPE requirements
- Assist with investigations on incidents that involve Anhydrous Ammonia
- High school diploma required,
- Haz-Mat Technician certification or NH3 Handlers Training or ability to obtain.
- Work experience with Anhydrous Ammonia is an asset
- Knowledge of federal and provincial laws and regulations including (but not limited) Transport Canada, Environment Canada & Provincial Environment.
- Must have a valid Class 1a license
- Excellent verbal, written, and analytical skills, ability to interact with all levels of employees and management.
- Must be self–motivated and disciplined requiring little to no direct supervision, ability to deal with multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Must be able to lift 25 – 50 lbs., occasionally lift 51 to greater than 75 lbs.
- Must be able to work outdoors in a wide range of temperatures and weather conditions.
- Must be able to wear a respirator and wear personal protective equipment.
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace and possess a Canadian driver's license
