Job Summary:


The IT Analyst is a hybrid role split between the roles and responsibilities of both IT Infrastructure Analyst and PC technician, approximately with equal time spent with of each of the respective teams on a weekly basis.

Resource allocation of this position may vary and be adjusted to meet business needs, seasonality and project work.

IT Infrastructure Analyst_** is responsible for maintaining all parts of local resort network infrastructure, systems and plant


Responsibilities include:

Support and administer local network - connecting mountain and valley / village locations via fiber, wireless and wired connections using

  • Cisco network equipment
  • Aruba wireless infrastructure (controllers and access points)
-
Support and administer Firewall and VPN solution

  • Checkpoint and Cloudgenix hardware
-
Support & administer local Phone system
- including endpoints
-
Support and administer server infrastructure
- local physical and virtual servers
-
Support RFID lift access hardware
- various technology depending on location
-
Network security
-
secure local network and infrastructure using NAC
-
Monitor and troubleshoot all network systems
- recommend improvements where applicable.

Project and contract management:


  • Procurement, Budgeting, Asset Lifecycle Management

IT PC Technician_**- Support POS stations and the SOE (standard operating environment) windows functions.

  • Configure, install and maintain PC's, laptops, wireless devices, printers, peripherals and other equipment to support enterprise business operations. This will include support of remote locations and properties as well as on mountain support.
  • Responds to problem tickets and repairs malfunctioning equipment quickly. Provides support for PC technician operations and IT Support Center operations on a daily basis. Support and troubleshooting of desktop operating systems is fundamental for this support role.
  • Performs installations, relocation, and reinstallation as well as any other related requests.

Requirements:


  • Demonstrated network / systems administration competency
  • Cisco CCNA qualification and/or Microsoft certification an asset
  • 2 years experience in the administration of a Windows Active Directory network. MCP or higher an asset but not essential.
  • Cabling and outdoor work is required
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft system policy and group policy in an enterprise environment
  • Create and maintain IT technical documentation.
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Customer focused, self motivated and results orientated.
