ROLE

  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assisting team members with daytoday marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.
  • Supporting the inhouse marketing and leasing team by coordinating and collating content.
  • Designing and producing marketing packages, prelease packages, and presentations in addition to assisting with the production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying, and checking copy.
  • Conducting market research and collect data on demographics, competitors, and marketplace information, including but not limited to retail trends, market rents, and developments in the market (i.e. residential, office, retail, hotels, etc. relevant to the projects).
  • Keeping abreast of consumer trends in fashion, food, and design.
  • Consolidating information into actionable items, reports, and presentations.
  • Staying on top of and keeping fully informed of market trends, other sources of information/research, and media coverage of all things retail and urban news on our tenants, new openings, expansions, closures, and urban development and circulating reports.
  • Creating and sourcing content and copy for social media platforms (ie. Instagram, LinkedIn), as well as scheduling and posting.
  • Assisting with website updates.

EDUCATION

  • EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
  • 23 years of experience marketing, graphic design, or a related field

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that work well in a team environment
  • Creative thinker, openminded, adaptable, and resourceful
  • Detailoriented, organized, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Digitally savvy; uses digital and social media (Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok)

  • Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets
  • Canva
  • Development Software (ie. Urban Toronto Pro)
  • Demographic Software (ie. Sitewise)
