About Us:

Convertus Group is Canada's largest and most advanced operator, processing more than 500,000 tonnes of waste annually.

From coast to coast, we operate 13 sites to produce over 200,000 tonnes of finished compost and over 80,000 GJ of Renewable Natural Gas.

This is the equivalent of taking 15,000 cars off the road or avoiding 28 million litres of gasoline being consumed.

Your Mission:


The Project Manager plays a crucial role in efficiently overseeing DBO projects and assigned initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget.

Your role involves managing project timelines, enforcing contractual compliance, and supporting new business procurement and facility acquisition efforts.


Here's what an ordinary day of work might look like:

  • Review project plans and schedules for DBO projects, highlighting key tasks and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth execution of DBO projects, including civil, electrical, and processrelated works.
  • Keep the company website up to date with content that mirrors our mission, values, and growth, following SEO best practices.
  • Monitor project progress closely, proactively identifying and addressing any budget, planning, or quality issues that may arise.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and conducting monthly meetings to review project status and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, calculations, permits, and manuals, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual requirements.
  • Update cash flow projections, review projectrelated invoices, and prepare progress reports for management, highlighting financial updates, schedule deviations, and risk assessments.

This job is for you if:

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, electrical/ mechanical preferred. A construction-related degree would be an asset.
  • You have experience managing multimilliondollar construction projects it is required.
  • You have 57 years of experience in project management, financial and contract management it is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in process installations.
  • You have a strong understanding of various forms of Canadian construction contracts (CCDC) and a general understanding of construction law and legislation.
  • You have experience in setting up and maintenance of the project administration (costing, scheduling, quality, safety, and loss control program).
  • You hold a valid Driver's License.
  • IPD contract experience would be an asset.
