THE POSITION


Keyera is currently seeking a local Warehouse Technician that will support our Supply Chain Team at our Keyera Alberta EnviroFuels Facility (KAEF) in Edmonton, Alberta.

This individual will be responsible for providing shipping and receiving duties, inventory controls and allocation.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the existing warehouse including the entry and organization of inventory in ERP system (Maximo).
  • Maintenance, organization and general housekeeping of warehouse space.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required.
  • Responsible for Data Integrity for the Maximo Inventory Storeroom.
  • Member of the Keyera Item Master Governance Team & initiatives.
  • Manage the Shipping and Receiving of various parts and materials to/from the warehouse.
  • Inventory control, allocation and reordering within ERP system (Maximo).
  • Staging, Kitting and Issuing Inventory request based on Facilities demand.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI).
  • Look for improvement opportunities to grow and flex as the processes at the facility develop.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of warehouse experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers license with a satisfactory drivers abstract.
  • Previous exposure to Maximo or other ERP systems.
  • Skillful in building and maintaining relationships with various internal stakeholders including Operations, Maintenance, Management and Engineering.
  • Selfdirected and motivated while complying to with policies and procedures.
  • Can demonstrate an ability to prioritize and organize work to meet shifting daily demands based on operations.
  • An analytical ability to resolve issues and complex problems with a high degree of initiative.
  • Able to perform the physical aspects of the position including climbing, crouching, and lifting up to 50lbs independently.
