    Description

    JOB SUMMARY FOR Test Automation Engineer:

  • Hiring a Test Automation Engineer for a leader in the automotive industry in Ontario, Canada.
  • Onsite
  • Compensation $72-84/hour

    • RESPONSIBILITIES FOR Test Automation Engineer:

  • Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and tests scripts
  • Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the target under test
  • Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
  • Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the test management system and defect tracking system
  • Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints

    • JOB EXPERIENCE FOR Test Automation Engineer:

  • Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)
  • Experience with database (SQL)
  • Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

    • SKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR Test Automation Engineer:

  • Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie: Slash)
  • Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
  • Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
