- Hiring a Test Automation Engineer for a leader in the automotive industry in Ontario, Canada.
- Onsite
- Compensation $72-84/hour
- Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and tests scripts
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the target under test
- Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing
- Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the test management system and defect tracking system
- Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints
- Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)
- Experience with database (SQL)
- Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie: Slash)
- Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)
- Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
