SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for exceeding annual operating plan (AOP) for total sales within assigned territory. Primary focus on selling and maintaining traditional relationships with janitorial supply distributors and developing sales opportunities with corporate accounts and direct sale accounts in the areas of hospitality, healthcare, government, building services, and education.

SKILLS, CAPABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:
  • Focus on growing sales in support of the local sales and marketing efforts of Windsor distributors.
  • Knowledge and aptitude for understanding mechanical and chemistry aspects of cleaning equipment and associated chemicals.
  • General understanding of the cleaning industry and products.
  • Practical selling skills and aptitude for performing equipment needs analyses and financial justification.
  • Creditable history of building relationships based upon trust, confidence, and personal rapport.
  • Ability to make enduser calls representing Windsor and distributors for account development

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:***- Exceed Sales AOP within assigned geographic region.

  • Provide support for assigned Windsor distributors within territory by scheduling and executing equipment and sales training for Distributor Sales Representatives (DSR) so they can become qualified to promote the entire Windsor line.
  • Utilize the Territory Sales Plan to expand the sales of Windsor products to the predetermined Corporate Account prospects and newly contacted prospects.
  • Develop sales opportunities for the Century400 product line in smaller janitorial niche distributors
  • Work closely with the Windsor Corporate Account Sales Team to execute assigned Corporate Account Plans in territory.
  • Assist distributor with administrative needs such as credits, disputed invoices, outstanding payments, and other related duties.
  • Respond to distributors' requests for equipment DEMO ASSISTANCE with prospective buyers that have been developed by the DSR and assist in closing the sale.
  • Maintain an appropriate equipment demo inventory and ensure the equipment is clean, updated and ready for sale or demonstration. Manage the rotation of that equipment to minimize obsolescence.
  • Help Windsor Credit Department with collections for outstanding receivables balances as requested.
