    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    The Jazz Drummondville residence offers a warm, comfortable, and safe living environment. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our next position. This is a full-time, permanent position, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with weekend work as needed.

    ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • All other related tasks
    • Assist residents with any deficiencies related to services provided by the residence
    • Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior
    • Keep the work environment clean
    • Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.)
    • Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior
    • Perform minor repairs in apartments and common areas
    • Schedule and ensure that preventive maintenance is performed on equipment

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and minor repairs
    • 1 year of relevant experience will be considered an important asset
    • Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
