What you bring to our team

What you'll do:


In the role of an Industrial Sales Representative, you will be responsible for representing Muir Tapes and Adhesives to customers in the Eastern GTA territory with a clear understanding of our capabilities, products and services.

The key responsibilities in this role are as follows:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop a territory plan based off a clear understanding of the market and trends
  • Technical product support for customers
  • Maintaining CRM/sales funnel
  • Generate leads through prospecting
  • Develop and close new opportunities
  • Work with supplier reps and maintain relationships with existing customers
  • Meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Competent understanding of MTA's converting capabilities and processes
  • Grow sales and margins by achieving yearly sales and profit forecast, based on Company set objectives
  • Provide regular territory feedback to the management team using a CRM platform and various tools

Position requirements:


  • 2+ years' experience in Industrial Sales
  • A professional winning attitude
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Clear understanding of the selling process
  • Proven track record of closing sales
  • Ability to problemsolve and work within an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Valid G Drivers license

Preferred requirements:


  • Proven success and the ability to exceed sales forecasts
  • Completion of a Post-Secondary program or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and written) in French
  • Experience in process improvement and cross functional team work
