The Accounting Associate, performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in an accounting department with duties that include but are not limited to:
- Preparing, posting & reconciling daily deposits including cheques, cash, EFT and credit card deposits.
- Maintaining accounts receivable records, researching and resolving any account discrepancies.
- Preparing analytical analysis in accounts receivable.
- Administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, EFT set up, preparing invoices, filing paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Time management skills.
- Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Experienced with QuickBooks (preferred)
