As a Fraud Analyst, you will work in a dynamic team providing insights and analytics regarding threats from external and internal sources. You will execute work to focus on prevention and recovery of fraud in accordance with applicable procedures, conduct comprehensive investigations and provide consultation and analysis to business, and Implement strategic priorities in alignment with standards and operations procedures.

Note:

This is a position that will be largely dedicated to analytics, reporting, and insights - which will involve drawing data from JET's data warehouses, and manipulating it to detect trends, threats, patterns, and supporting recommendations for changes to our fraud toolset.**

What's On Your Plate:


Key ingredients:


  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills are essential.
  • Intermediate to advanced SQL skills are essential.
  • Performing complex statistical analysis, such as regression analysis, time series analysis and experience dealing with large datasets
  • Experience with Power Query and Power Pivot in Excel for data modelling is an asset
  • Knowledge and passion for detecting and mitigating Fraud in the ecommerce space is critical
  • Very familiar with JET systems and data OR have good knowledge of fraud tools & concepts with a strong technical foundation
  • Ability to handle and prioritise a heavy workload, at times
  • Drive for continuous learning, including new tech/data skills as well as industry trends
  • Assist the team (and other stakeholders) with data gathering.
  • Strong analytical mindset is critical to success.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture, trends, opportunities.
  • Understanding of online fraud scenarios.
  • Understanding of credit card dispute/chargeback process.
  • Experience working in a technical environment.
