Description

Permanent/Anywhere in Canada/Telework or hybrid/Desired start date: As soon as possible_

Your main duties will include:

Understanding and validating the needs expressed by a team of actuaries and analysts
In collaboration with the team, maintaining the various tools with a "just enough just in time" mindset
Showing constant concern for guaranteeing the security and preserving the confidentiality of digital information
Guiding development toward the execution of automated tests
Performing the required tests throughout the development process until production, avoiding service interruptions
Measuring the qualities of the developed solution (performance, robustness, functional coverage of the tests, etc.)
Providing support for the software solution once put into production (anomalies, maintenance, oversight, etc.)
Actively contributing to making sure the documentation required for the sustainability of the designed elements is present, valid and kept uptodate
Your career path looks like this:_
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, actuarial science or other relevant field
Strong aptitude in mathematics
Knowledge of pension plans (major asset)
Experience with , VBA, SQL and C# programming languages
High level of autonomy and ability to work alone or as part of a team
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
