Responsibilities
- Independently review assigned credit files to objectively evaluate the quality of the credit decision adherence to Company's underwriting policies guidelines and standards including insurer requirements integrity of file documentation data inputs Ensuring observations are accurate defensible results accurately documented database errors omission minimized Responsibility presenting defending individual file review results debriefs Underwriting VPs Directors Managers Constructively evaluate underwriter responses establishment final file rating Identifying referring suspicious files Corporate Compliance assist fulfilling regulatory responsibilities Collaboratively support preparation issuance reporting relating review results EVP Credit Risk Committee Recommend changes policy standards guidelines operational procedures promote consistency effectiveness decisions needed Identifies systemic risks opportunities enhance underwriting standards reflect sound practice Proactively support ERM mandate identifying improve risk discipline underwriting applications promoting strong risk culture within Company identify participate related initiatives direction Director Retail Loan Review
