Overview:

Apple Tree Caregiver Services Ltd. is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Workers.

As a Home Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes located in Metro Vancouver area, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
• Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe environment for clients

Requirements:

• Experience or certification as a nurse or Health Care Assistant is preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, and senior care is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with mínimal supervision.

Willing to travel to Maple Ridge, South Surrey, Langley.
(Our office is located at Surrey near King George skytrain station, but you need to travel to our clients' home to work.)


Minimum 4 working hours per visit.

You must have a legal status to work in Canada (Citizen, PR or a work permit). We can consider an LMIA in future, but not from the beginning.

Pay:
$19.50-$21.50 per hour
