Aircraft Avionics Technician - North Saanich, Canada - Victoria Air Maintenance

Victoria Air Maintenance is seeking a licensed AME-E for work in Victoria, BC at CYYJ.


Duties:

• Perform installation, service, and repair tasks on aircraft in accordance with company and industry standards;
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and equipment;
• Test avionics systems to ensure proper functioning;
• Interpret technical manuals and schematics to perform installations and repairs;
• Complete Maintenance Releases for work performed;
• Document all maintenance activities and keep accurate records;
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects and meet deadlines; and
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of aircraft electrical systems;
• Proficient in using various tools, and other mechanical equipment;
• Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals and wiring diagrams;
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail; and
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.

Salary:
$30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
