Big White Ski Resort is currently seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the team at Clocktower Coffee Co.

for the 2023/2024 winter season.

Duties and responsibilities include:

Leading a group of up to 1012 staff in a fastpaced environment, while maintaining a high level of hospitality and service standards
Maintaining a strong presence on the floor and leading the team to ensure that all assigned tasks are complete, service standards are upheld and staff grooming is maintained
Providing on the floor support to all team members to maintain guest satisfaction levels
Assisting the Clocktower Coffee Co. Manager with supervising the outlet while on shift
Ensuring the safe and responsible service of alcohol at the venue at all times all team members must abide to all liquor laws and the terms and conditions of a food primary liquor license at all times
Working with the Events Coordinator to execute all Food & Beverage events
Performing daily administrative duties relating to payroll, event management, ordering and requisitions
Assisting with providing training and support to all team members to achieve guest satisfaction
Assisting with SWP & SJP training, ensuring that all team members adhere to these standards at all times
Communicating with the management team through writing in manager logs and also verbally on a daily basis
Managing all aspects of employee success through 1on1s and team coaching
Working with the Events Coordinator to execute all Food & Beverage events
Entering data for financial reporting, menu printing etc.
Assisting with monthly inventory counts

Position requirements/skills:

Minimum two years' experience in a fastpaced restaurant/cafe environment in a leadership role
Ability to stay focused and organized in a fastpaced environment
High knowledge of computers and Squirrel systems (or other POS systems)
Cashhandling experience
Barista experience is considered an asset
Hospitality training is considered an asset
Must be 19 years old
Valid Serving it Right Certificate
High level of attention to detail
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal correspondence
Problemsolving skills
Customerservice driven
Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and grooming at all times

Physical demands:

Ability to work long hours, and expected to work overtime in busy periods and holidays
Ability to remain on feet for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 50lbs, and bend and push repeatedly
