Summary:

Specific Responsibilities:

Management of project execution of both technical and process driven initiatives. This will include the creation of new business process to support business plans. This may also include the management of temp resources as required
Analysis, development and implementation of business process aimed at increasing accuracy and efficiency within the business
Analyzing and solving issues escalated by the business. This includes complex analysis of data, determining root cause issues and working with Metro IT if the issue is system related
Acting as Super User of specific area of expertise to both the business and Metro IT. This includes acting as the 2nd level support for system and process issues
Responsible for a general technical and process knowledge of many areas of the business and to provide technical or functional advice on impacts to overall goals of the organization based on this knowledge
Creation and editing of technical documentation

Qualifications:

Post-Secondary education

years of relevant experience - grocery retail experience is an asset

Process analysis is required, prefer lean six sigma or experience in other process improvement models
Ability to manage multiple projects/tasks and ability to set appropriate priority levels
Ability to analyze data including identifying issues and relationships within the data
Advanced ability to use Microsoft Excel
Working level of knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office is an asset
Travel to Montreal and/or Ottawa as necessary
Evening and weekend work as required including on call as necessary
