Description
Support the Specialist in all aspects of the role;

  • Responsible to provide support during the client onboarding, transition and daily trading process;
  • Work alongside Investment, Client Service and Onboarding teams on preparing strategy and timelines for the client onboarding/transition;
  • Provide regular communications to Portfolio Management Team and onboarding regarding the status of current transition project;
  • Coordinate with operations and onboarding team to ensure daily trading process is completed in a timely and efficient manner;
  • Responsible for ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely completion, in line with business requirements;
  • Provide support and assist with Ad hoc duties as required.

What you need to have:


  • Numerate able to think on one's feet to understand and troubleshoot client and fund trades
  • Able to collaborate with various teams to get matters resolved at priority
  • Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail and ensuring highquality deliverables within set timelines;
  • Good command of Excel and automation processes.

What makes you stand out:


  • 3 years of professional work experience in asset management, trading, consulting/fiduciary management, or a related field;
  • Post-Secondary Degree or higher education. Working towards professional qualifications (CFA, CIM or equivalent) are desirable.
  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects at any point in time collaboratively with team members locally.
  • Attention to detail highly important
  • Works well with deadlines
  • Communication skills, organization skills
  • Trading experience preferred
  • Charles River platform experience is a plus
  • Hybrid 2 days/week in office the rest remote
  • There may be FTE opportunity

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12-18 months


Pay:
$23.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Montréal, QC H1A 2B6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
