Receiving and Inventory Replenishment Manager |
Service: Warehouse


Reporting to the Receiving and Inventory Replenishment Manager, the Warehouse Analyst's mandate is to collect, contextualize and interpret primary and secondary data from both internal and external environments and report actionable insight and warehouse intelligence to the organization.

He performs other related duties as requested by his immediate managers, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.


TASKS RELATED TO FUNCTION:


Warehouse Analysis | 50%

  • Understanding the flow of goods and human intervention points in the warehouse and working to minimize bottlenecks in all departments.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy by monitoring, validating and tracking inventory moves associated with all operations processes.
  • Determines which goods should be moved to alternate warehouses.

Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting | 40%

  • Exploratory research & qualitative analysis: monitoring warehouse trends & activity.
  • Secondary data research (competitive analysis and data modeling).
  • Primary data research leveraging ERP and internal reporting tools.
  • Sampling design for repeatable, efficient data mining, aggregation, and analysis.
  • Gathering of data and guaranteeing it is uptodate, valid, and reliable.
  • Quantitative data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Drawing conclusions & preparing reports: distilling information in a consumable fashion.

Process Optimization & Documentation | 10%

  • Understanding the informational requirements of the departments and company.
  • Identifying automation opportunities wherever possible; planning its implementation.
  • Drafting and maintaining process documentation for own tasks and department.
  • Identifying opportunities for reducing or eliminating nonvalueadding activities and risk.

ACADEMIC ASPECTS AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Postsecondary degree in Supply Chain, Data Analysis, Business Administration, or equivalent years of combined education & experience.
  • Advanced proficiency with inventory modules within ERP and WMS (SAP or equivalent).
  • Advanced in MS Excel including PivotTables, Power Queries and Data Tables.
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI would be an asset.
  • Two years' experience in a highvolume warehouse environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and French.
  • Proficiency with data input and strong mathematical skills are a must.
  • Good knowledge of the tire and wheel industry would be an asset.
Any combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

The position does not require travel.
